Design Presentation
A SHORT SUMMARY OF DRP’S RENOVATION DESIGNS
There are two color palettes, Blue and Bronze Options for both the Lobby and our Hallways. You may prefer both the Lobby and Hallways to be the same color palette or different color palette for each of the areas, separating the feel of the Lobby area and our residences. The designers created both options to be interchangeable.
EXTERIOR
To make our entrance more open and welcoming, the canopy (which is an earthquake hazard and cannot be insured) and the black columns will be removed. The ponds have been narrowed for safety and design, and the waterfall is being replaced with a glass water wall that will be lit at night. The weatherproof cement benches are up lit, and the colors of the light can be seasonally changed. They are part of the planter design. The tile flooring is a matte version of the lobby flooring. DRP takes a special interest in lighting that is subtle and integrated with all design.
LOBBY
There are certain elements that are the same in both the Blue and Bronze designs. These include the flooring, the stairs, and the entry wall detail that is a backlit faux onyx with light channels. The furniture is interchangeable with both palettes.
The main differences between the Blue and Bronze Lobby Options are with the long walls that are now dark brown wood.
The Blue Option has blue wallpaper in the center, where the wood is now and is framed with bronze mirror on each side.
The Bronze Option has a large bronze mirror in the center. On each side of the mirror there are backlit wooden panels in a light wood finish.
HALLWAYS
The primary differences between the Blue and Bronze palettes are the colors. The Blue is lighter, more casual in feeling and the Bronze a bit more elegant. Both Options have enhanced lighting that make the hallways much more inviting.
We have multiple carpet options for Hallways and Lobby and unit door detail.
We wish you all could be here in person to experience the rich colors and textures. The boards will be in the Lobby for you to see.
DRP has created the best possible replications of the real thing, but online presentations do not adequately reflect the background lighting throughout the design.
Please send your color palette preferences and any questions and/or comments to Perla.
Please Mark the Subject Line: “Design Questions.”
We will answer your questions at our building Zoom. The June date will be announced shortly.
